Trying to get the most out of your time in Alaska and do it all? Our Mushing talk is for you! Join us for an unforgettable experience into the world of dog sledding, where you'll learn about Alaska's state sport, check out professional gear and cuddle Alaskan Husky puppies. We offer three times online you can pre-book but other tours from 8am-4pm and encourage you to pop-in as we work to accommodate every group.
What to Expect at Our Mushing Talks
Just 30 minutes of your time
Our tour is short and simple. No long bus ride, no big groups, and not all day. Tours occur inside in our shop on 5th and Broadway. Stop in and we can accommodate your parties needs.
It's a hands on experience
Ryan's mushed his entire life. Check out the gear, stand on the sled he won the 2023 Iditarod on and of course, play with Alaskan Husky puppies.
Cuddle with Puppies
Who doesn't love puppies? And if they aren't snuggling and snoozing, they are ready to play! But remember, they are puppies and they have puppy teeth.
What are Tour Times?
Generally tours are occurring from 9am-5pm Monday - Sunday and we try to accommodate the time to work for you. Tours are about 30 minutes and typical group sizes are around 20 people or less. We work hard to accommodate a tour for you, so stop on by or you can book online for one of our available pre-book times. If you have a group larger than 20 people, please reach out to us at alaskanhuskytales@gmail.com for booking.
What is the price?
It is $35 per person to participate in the Tour and Talk for those ages 4 and up.
